Yes, I went to go see Mission Impossible Three this past weekend. Am I proud that I helped support Tom "You don't know the history of psychiatry/I didn't blackmail Comedy Central into pulling that episode of South Park from the air" Cruise and the cult that is Scientology? No. However, I happen to know for a fact that the money I spent on my ticket went to Philip Seymour Hoffman. And Maggie Q. Actually, Kathleeeeen paid for the movie so I guess I wasn't supporting anyone. Not even my girlfriend. Oopps.
That poor Katie "I want to fuck you while I watch you on TV" Holmes. Brainwashed so quickly. Apparently, Jason "That was the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. I mean, look at you. You're the kind of guy who would beg for sex. And I should know, we can smell our own" Lee of Mallrats and Chasing Amy fame is also a Scientologist. How disheartening that piece of information was on me. Sigh.
Prior to the movie, I watched the Pistons dismantle the Cleveland Lebrons with Kathleeeen. Speaking of the NBA, how Steve Nash won the MVP award for the second year in a row is beyond this guy's reasoning. I'm no Shaquille O'Neal fan, but the fact that Steve Nash has two MVP awards in his career and Shaq only has one is an abomination. While I wanted Chauncey to win, I could have lived with Lebron or Kobe winning the award. At least Ben won the Defensive Player of the Year Award. Again.
I'm excited for Las Vegas. KFisch, how was your trip? Where is the update? Were the tables intimidating? How much did you win? How was Paris? How good was the food/buffets? I need answers!
