Artsy and more artsy

Right now I am so hungover.... went to sleep at 04.30am last night/morning. It was fun, but damn I hate hangovers....
Anyways, it's been a while since I posted. This is my update:
1: The lecture went well, even though I was insanely nervous. I even sold 5 of my poetry collections and received a 1,500 DKK fee (or whatever it's called) for being there. So that's 2000 DKK total - not bad for 30 minutes of work, ey? LOL. That was cool. Applause and everything... Very exciting. But nervewrecking too.... I really had to focus to keep my hands from shaking violently as I spoke while standing there in the spotlight, hehehe. No one noticed how nervous I was though...
2: My next plan is to exhibit my art in a public art exhibition this weekend. One of my friends called and asked if I wanted to join, because another artist had cancelled. So yay, I'm on it! I'll get approximately 5 - 8 meters of exhibition space and I'll bring all of the paintings I think are worth showing off. Except of course those that are sold and gone. The exhibiton opens this Saturday at 10am and stretches to Sunday at 4pm. Tomorrow I have to go there and put up all of my paintings and arrange them properly and such. I'm a bit nervous, because there'll be loads of people and such, but I'm glad to get out of the house and experience something. Especially something artsy.
3: I have wanted to try out my camera and editing skills for a while now - and this week I couldn't take a mid day nap because this idea about a short film kept rotating inside my skull. So the day after I asked my BF to be the camera man and we filmed a short film.... Haha, it didn't turn out as I wanted it though - because one of the scenes was masked together and somehow the quality of that particular clip deteriorated and went all weird... so I had to change all the other clips in order for the masked one not to pop out in an irritating way. Basically that meant that the entire film went grainy and uglier to look at.... I'm hoping it looks more vintage-like than just crappy. LOL. And maybe some what artsy?
