The Coordinates directs the players into a large and vast room that has mostly been surrendered into darkness. Here and there, some candelabras were lit as a token effort against the night

Shadow needs none of your silly umbrellas, neither does he need your doors. But, to be polite (and yes, politeness is important), he solidifies. He tries the knocker, and when no one arrives he tries the door. It's unlocked so he invites himself inside. Serves them right for leaving the place unattended anyway.
As soon as he steps over the threshold, he gets a chill up his spine. There's a sudden draft, and it nudges the door closed behind him.
"Uh." Blink. "No, I meant him." He adds quickly with a point at the skinny tattooed guy next to him. Then he gets up off the couch again. "I'm guessing... Do you go by that name too? That... Miiiiight make things a little confusing."
Few people are absurd enough to place such a prefix on their own moniker, but it isn't technically his name. On the other hand, he no longer has any other name to give but aliases. "There's always the same name in other languages, if that makes it easier for you." A dark red scarf conceals his mouth, but there is a hint of a smile in the lines thick around his eyes. He is either amused and subtly mocking Dib, or he simply has a very odd sense of humour.
"Yeah. Sure." He takes it as mocking, apparently. He gets up and pulls a hand-held readout device that, by all means, shouldn't have been comfortably hidden in a trenchcoat. He flips a switch and the thing lights up.
"I was going to ask if you followed me!" He replies. Shadow would do that.
"But no, I got this weird card in the mail and a letter saying something about a seance. Innn hindsight I should have handed this over to the Bureau, but you know, I just didn't think of it." >_>
"Something wrong, man?" Dib reaches out a hand obligingly, but his expression is worried. He knows his sudden need to shake has got nothing to do with cordiality...
Dib's eyes widen when he actually feels Shadow's hand.
"...what. WHAT. You're HERE? And SOLID?! But how?! It's gotta be some kind of el-oh-el field! One maybe generated by the lifeforce of the ghosts contained in the location! This is big! This is really big! I've never seen an ectoplasmic surge actually create a temporary living vessel before!"
As soon as he steps over the threshold, he gets a chill up his spine. There's a sudden draft, and it nudges the door closed behind him.
"What in bloody hell."

This from the Dib-shaped figure sitting in half-dark under the skeletal umbrella tree.

Shadow nearly falls backwards on the slippery floor, but he's able to right himself.
"...Dib? What're you doing here? Did you follow me?"
Very, very short pause.
"Of course you didn't, here you are. Daft..."

He should not be this amused, but he is.

"You all got these cards, then? I had to leave mine at home, though..."
Pause. He's feeling altogether too strange. Well.
"Someone, shake hands with me?" He offers a hand. (Yes, there will be a quiz later."
