People PC has a little feature that whenever I sign on, I get a little "Word of the Day" message that pops up. Guess what word it gave me?
Sartorial: of or pertaining to tailoring or tailors.
What a freakin' coincidence, because I JUST started working on my classic comic Spider-Man costume today. On my grandmother's Kenmore 3/4 Overlock serger (which I am borrowing indefinitely). I haven't used that thing in ... so long. It took some getting used to, having to rethread the damn thing *WOES!* but it is indispensable when it comes to sewing spandex and other stretchy type fabric.
On a related note, I must remember to NEVER cut up my patterns EVER again. I cut a size too large and now I need to buy the pattern again so that I can get the suit to fit right. I may end up just sewing the classic comic Black Spidey suit first off, to test the pattern's new fit (and I won't have to worry about annoying color blocking, unlike the blue and white suit). Besides, we all know the Black Spidey suit is sexy, too~ And since the third movie is due the day before Halloween, why not?
