This Really Isn't A Healthy Relationship
I've never been aware of Barry Allen, other than in a sort of peripheral, 'hey, isn't he that guy who used to be the Flash before he died and now everyone loves him?' way, and to be honest he doesn't interest me that much. So I haven't been paying a ton of attention to the whole Flash: Rebirth thing, other than to roll my eyes at DC's huge collective hard-on for the Silver Age. But the scans from the new issue got posted in Scans_Daily 2.0 yesterday, and when I saw the Bart Allen tag, well, I had to check it out.

MaxMaxMaxMax all old and hairy and Max-like and punching the bad guys and OMG Bart's little face, I would read this book just to see Bart's facial expressions in the background because he's so happy when he sees Max yay!
DC, I will forgive you for so, so many things, even Damian Wayne and Tim's endless wangst fest and Teen Titans v3, if you will give me a Kid Flash ongoing with Max Mercury in it. Please please pretty please?
On the other hand, Marvel, you just keep breaking my heart and spitting in my face. A better person would have walked away by now. But even with Marvel Divas and BND and brain-damaged/dying!Tony, I just can't do bring myself to cut free of you. You're still on notice, though.
