boo doo bee doo. doo doo doo!
okey dokey life has been busy, to be brief:
1. have been teaching the last 2 weeks, will be teaching the next 2 weeks, then i get 2 weeks off, then i'm teaching for 2 weeks, a week off, then uni starts.
2. teaching the last 2 weeks was good fun, witht the exception of my supervisor.. who tended to have different views on stuff to me and we didn't really get along... (note to self, fighting with supervisor not good way to get good teaching assessment from her at end of series). and adding to the good part were the family of kids that i had, in different lessons, that, after lesson came up and said 'thank-you very much for my lesson miss beth', which i thought was very cute, and praised their mother for bringing them up so well (plus they were all natural swimmers and they all passed on their own merit)
3. in the process of quitting my job at midland, as i don't want to be doing it whilst teaching, and as afore mentioned, i will be doing alot of it in the weeks to come. i'll probably try to find something in kalamunda or round abouts after swimming finishes which would be easier.
4. i enjoyed new years, even though i'm sorry that other people weren't in such a great mood, i got to see everybody, if only briefly for some. the only thing that marred it for me was my sister getting home that night/early morning (having told me that she wouldn't be back until late the next day) her getting really angry that i let someone sleep in her bed, and proceeding to yell abuses from the hallway, waking everybody up in the process.(she was still rather drunk and very tired... not good mix)
5. saw The lion the witch and the wardrobe with mila and absolutely LOVED it. it was so beautiful to watch, and yes, i cried along with mila (what is it at the moment? i never used to cry in movies and now i do it in every bloody movie that i see!)
ummm, yes, not much else i can thnk of at the moment, going to go out and get some groceries i think...
