the weekend's recap
This has been a pretty good weekend. On Friday, I got my hair re-braided (the first time was the Friday after Labor Day). Later that night, I played in a ping pong tourney in my dorm. I lost in the first round, but it was still fun. Alex won it, representing LU.
Saturday I woke up very excited for TEXAS/OU. Me and my bro went to a friend's apartment to watch it. But when we turned the game on, it was a Michigan game! We were very disappointed. One of us then suggested we try finding a sports bar playing the game. We found one and went. It was a fantastic game, one in which we prevailed, 45-12. To celebrate after, we went to get ice cream at the strip mall near Marquette. At 8, we watched Batman Begins in the movie theater on campus. I hung out after, chilling in the dorm. Good times.
Today was pretty uneventful. I went to brunch and then went to an orchestra performance at 2. The performance was pretty good. I went back to my dorm and watched football until I ordered food with my brother and Jerry. We had chinese food, and it was really good.
The only way in which I have not been productive this weekend is doing my laundry. I always put it off until the LAST minute. I will do it tonight.
