What a night!!
Texas won the National Championship!!! I still can't believe it. It was a great game, and Texas finally proved that they are the best in the country. I will bring this up for at least a year. To all the haters: Fuck each and every one of ya'll!! It is expected though, as great generates hate. HOOK 'EM!!!
I got back to New Orleans Monday night, and back on campus Tuesday Morning. The city is coming back to life, but there are still signs of the aftermath of Katrina. Restaurants are open, but they close very early. The same goes for Wal-Mart. People are slowly coming back on campus. It's so good seeing people. It really is great. Everyone, including myself, is happy to be back. I hope this positive attitude carries over into the semester.
My temporary school last semester, Marquette, beat second-ranked UCONN Tuesday. They could make some noise this year.
