Aw, they really are the best friends anyone could hope for.
I'm really in hating Chad's mom mode. What a fucking BITCH! How could she act like that? How could you raise a child - even if it wasn't what you wanted or planned for - and not fall in love with them and want to protect them? It just does't seem in the realm of possibility, although I know that it does happen. And to think that part of the reason Chad put up with it all was because he was scared his father would turn on his mom. Sounds to me like that bitch could do with a good ass kicking!!
And yet, happy ending to the chapter. I'm wondering if you're going to go down the route of people finding out about Chris and Chad and Chris getting in trouble, that's kinda scary, but I guess that's also why this pairing is so interesting, the constant underlying danger of their relationship.
Love these two so much. :D
