All Sam's pitiful whining was just like 'foreplay', getting Dean to notice him, and building up to drag Dean away from his 'car porn' and get on to the 'main event'. :P Love them when they're so attuned to each other! And Dean knows all the right ways to reassure Sam.

(btw... should "smug inferior tone", maybe be "superior"? Cause as a teenager, I bet Dean was sporting an amazingly huge cool/laid-back/arrogant superiority complex façade. :P)
