long time since last update
YOu know, it's my own fault that I haven't updated, so here it is. I hate it when I dont' update in a long time because I get that feeling that I can't really say much because there is a ridiculous amount of stuff that has happened since the last time and I don't feel like I can cover it all. After a certain point it becomes ridiculous, so what usually happens is that I reason my way out of updating because of the aforementioned reason of inability to cover everything.
So, another semester is well underway at this point and this week was about to be the week from hell, but it was relieved of that status slightly when my inorganic professor decided the exam originally scheduled for tomorrow was moved to next tuesday. This week was going to originally involve a differential equations project about Euler's Method, improved euler, and Runge kutta; a lab report for my p-chem lab that ran about ten pages, but keep in mind that several linear least squares were calculated BY HAND; a problem set of a ridiculous number of problems (54) due for inorganic, which involved identifying the symmetry of 40 different molecules and otehr objects including Natalie Portman (I think my prof is a perv, lol); a p-chem exam; a differential equations exam; and an inorganic exam. All of those still remain except for the last one. So, all is not quite the worst, but it easily could have been.
At the same time I'm trying to make deadlines for internship applications. I've asked a couple of different professors for recommendation letters and such, so that process is underway. One of them is due on Valentine's Day, so I have to bust ass on that one to get the letters from them. Beyond that, though, I'm just waiting for Spring Break in a few weeks. I'm headed out to Colorado again with Rachel and her dad. Her uncle and aunt will also be there, which is fine, but I'm just excited to go. It's great out there, and the skiing will be awesome. If for no other reason, it will be because not a whole lot of people will be there compared to the week after Christmas. I'm expecting to virtually have the mountain to ourselves. We leave on Saturday the 26th and get back on Wednesday the 2nd. So, that'll be awesome...I can't wait for that!!!
