well... that sucked...
I came home from four days of housesitting/babysitting, and all my mom can say is:
-What? That's all they gave you? I thought you said there was more.
(So...the deal was 200 dollars for the weekend plus 200 dollars spending money. My parents thought it was 200 plus 50 a day plus 50 a day spending. Well... they were disappointed and so began a lecture blah blah blah. I mean I got 70 extra dollars for gas money and for repairing/cleaning the two kids' rooms. Seriously, something is up with mom and money. Couldn't she be the least bit happy that I came out with a bonus?)
-How come you can't find a job straight out of school like the other kids?
(Well... a majority of my friends are also still searching. I mean, I'm still working my ass off trying my best to make money to cover my brother's 8000 debt, but sheesh let me enjoy my youth, which takes me to the next point...)
-In the four weeks you've been graduating, you've been enjoying everyday. Have you even studied or worked on anything. You're going to lose the motivation to do well in your summer class.
(Ahem...I live to learn. Nothing can stop that from happening. In fact, I would rather be at school learning than coming home to extensive criticisms. I mean...just because your youth...and your current state...didn't enjoy life to its fullest does not mean I cannot. Especially if I get paid for it. Seeing as how my friend just passed away recently, I'm glad I'm enjoying every moment of life because who knows when I'll be gone.)
-Blah Blah, we don't want you to follow your brother's footsteps and not get a job etc.
(Hey, guess what? If I followed my brother's footsteps, the car wouldn't be in the garage from my trip to Great America. I would also be down the hole 8000 dollars and I wouldn't be living at home, but I am living at home, I'm actually up 8000 dollars and the car is in the garage, not totalled like the old Honda)
Ahhh.... that feels so much better after ranting...
