My guilty pleasure?
The answer is easy - admitting it is not. My guilty pleasure is watching Obi-Wan. Watching him walk, with that swift, clean, strut that proclaims his confidence and ability. Watching him train, whether at lightsaber practice or open-hand techniques, sweat shining on his brow, agility and strength married to grace and skill. Watching him sprawl on the divan in our common room watching the newsfeed, not above talking back to the reader when something particularly idiotic is aired. Watching him on duty in the crèche once a tenday, teaching crechlings to read and cipher, tenderness and merriment in his eyes at their earnest efforts to please him.
Watching him sleep while I am on watch, on some mission or another. I wonder that we ever make it home, he distracts me so badly sometimes.
Having re-read this entry, I realize that my feelings for my Padawan are beginning to interfere with the performance of my duties.
This cannot go on.
