Welcome to the ♕anime_lj_tcg's Game Guide! As of current, the TCG has 27 games filled with fun and/or headaches. Below are the list of games, how the game runs, the prizes in store for you once you participate in the games and other things! This will also be the place for questions about the games and whatnot so if you have any questions regarding the games, just comment on this post and the moderators will get back to you ASAP!
ANALOGIES

✖ like SAT analogies, a comparison is made between a character and some attribute. Knowing what connects the attribute will help you find the answer to the other analogy.

✖ finding the comparison is the difficulty here. identifying the characters featured is easy, but you have to find the similarity between the first analogy, and correspond that similarity to the second analogy. it can be anything from "nickname" to "least favorite food".
ANIME TRIVIA

✖ this game is LITERALLY a guessing game! you have to guess well to be able to get the prize.

CARD POT

✖ 20 randomly selected cards are posted and players may trade in any card they wish given that it is the same card value and not a card from a deck that is already in the pot. players may trade in cards once per week.

✖ occasionally there are themed rounds where you must trade in a card that matches the theme or where you must trade in a card that is the same number as the card that you want.

CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE

✖ given an image of some series, players will need to identify the series that it's from as well as find the staff member specified. The staff position changes between rounds, and it's very specific.

✖ requires anime, manga, and video game knowledge, depending on what media is featured. however, it comes down to identifying the series, since the staff member can be easily found at Anime News Network.
DISTORTED!

✖ a card that has been distorted/mangled will be posted and players must answer with the correct deck the card is from and what number card it is.

✖ there are a LOT of cards in this TCG and it requires players to be able to narrow the possibilities down to a certain deck and card based on a player's ability to recognize similarities.

✖ given a sentence about a character describing themselves briefly, the players must identify the character.

✖ some series knowledge is required, since characters are describing themselves. however, you can narrow it down to characters that have decks, so with a bit of research and secondhand knowledge, it's not terribly difficult.
