Well, I like this song, but I couldn't find the lyrics on the internet. And they are not in the CD's booklet either. So I typed them up, but I don't understand quite all of it, so that's why it might not make sense and why there is a big question mark in one of the lines. Also need to rescan the image I wanted to use for a music related icon.
There's a hotel in Paris where
The windows look out to see
So many people stayed there
Some dead and some like me
I saw Chet Baker's name on
The wall of the restaurant
And Timothy Leary carved on
The window in five o three
It's night in Algeria
And it's midnight on the Midnight Express
It's all part of evolution, baby
Slow bombing the world
Slow bombing the world
I walked on the bricks of Heaven
Saw the boats on the Seine
Met an old friend I used to talk to
'Til the morning came
He's living with Evaline
And a (?) who walks around town
All cigarettes and magazines
I know I've lost what he has found
Slow bombing the world
Slow bombing the world
And it's written on the subway wall
Russian girl and China boy
There's a hotel in Paris where
The windows look out to see
A girl with a candle burning
And playing for free
Her face is like an angel
Looking up at me
Slow bombing the world
