Core Values

There are times when I believe everyone needs to reminded of these Core Values.

Respect:
-noun
  1. a particular, detail, or point (usually prec. by in): to differ in some respect.
  2. esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability: I have great respect for her judgment.
  3. deference to a right, privilege, privileged position, or someone or something considered to have certain rights or privileges; proper acceptance or courtesy; acknowledgment: respect for a suspect's right to counsel; to show respect for the flag; respect for the elderly.
  4. the condition of being esteemed or honored: to be held in respect.
  5. respects, a formal expression or gesture of greeting, esteem, or friendship: Give my respects to your parents.
  6. favor or partiality.
  7. Archaic. a consideration.
Honor:
-noun
  1. honesty, fairness, or integrity in one's beliefs and actions: a man of honor.
  2. a source of credit or distinction: to be an honor to one's family.
  3. high respect, as for worth, merit, or rank: to be held in honor.
  4. such respect manifested: a memorial in honor of the dead.
  5. high public esteem; fame; glory: He has earned his position of honor.
  6. the privilege of being associated with or receiving a favor from a respected person, group, organization, etc.: to have the honor of serving on a prize jury; I have the honor of introducing this evening's speaker.
  7. chastity or purity in a woman.

Trust:
-noun
  1. reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
  2. confident expectation of something; hope.
  3. confidence in the certainty of future payment for property or goods received; credit: to sell merchandise on trust.
  4. a person on whom or thing on which one relies: God is my trust.
  5. the condition of one to whom something has been entrusted.
  6. the obligation or responsibility imposed on a person in whom confidence or authority is placed: a position of trust.
  7. charge, custody, or care: to leave valuables in someone's trust.
  8. something committed or entrusted to one's care for use or safekeeping, as an office, duty, or the like; responsibility; charge.
  9. Archaic. reliability.

Honesty:
-noun, plural -ties.
  1. the quality or fact of being honest; uprightness and fairness.
  2. truthfulness, sincerity, or frankness.
  3. freedom from deceit or fraud.
  4. Obsolete. CHASTITY.


Integrity:
-noun
  1. adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.
