Lil Sister Takes the Spotlight!
Click to viewThat's right! Move over Black Star, my Lil' Sis is taking this stage! Sort of. Anyways, this is the annual GCHS Earthstock event. Where local bands perform to raise money for the Environmental Club.
The last EarthStock event I went to was my sophomore year in High school, when the famous What Four still attended high school there (now they are known as Butterfly Assassins). Huge crowd and managers from record companies actually came to EarthStock, because What Four won Chicago's House of Blues Battle of the Bands in 2006.
Now, the crowd is five times smaller and the band doesn't perform on a stage, but the field house. Anyway, just watch the video. My sister is in the Black and White plaid shirt, playing the guitar. Lots of people say we look like twins, so you can get an idea of what I really look like. Keep in mind, I'm three years the elder.
