slowly....but surely
i am starting to get back in the routine of classes. Having trouble staying on task and focusing on my homework though.
Physics is gonna be interesting to say the least...have 3 homeworks due each week so like everyday will be spent working on that. I despise having numerous mini assignments. I'd rather he jus compile all the ones for the week into one large assignment and have one each week like all my other classes do, but oh well, for now the assignments are simple enough that once i sit down and feel motivated i can get a lot of them done in advance and not have to deal with them later.
Calculus is going well this semester. The professor has a hard time speaking english...but i can manage. He at leasts writes everything out in detail on the bored and explains it in as much detail as he can. The TA for the class also pretty much does our homework for us it seems. And then i have the same TA teaching my GE class for calculus and i was rather excited about that. Between all that i expect to come out with a B at least in this class. And on the plus side...all the homework comes from the book and not the evil devil worshiping homework service. Hoorah!
Raquetball has rapidly become my favorite class of the week. the instructor has a good sense of humor and isn't all that concerned with our preformance. She offers tips and ways to improve but she doesn't bark them like commands at you. The two of us had a good laugh at myself trying to hit a low shot and hitting my foot instead almost everytime. I'm definately going to be getting the exercise i most assuredly need and the scary part is...i like it. Going to try and make it a point go on friday nights with mitch and play a couple of games...for practice and for a chance to get out of the apartment every now and then.
Tomorrow night i'm heading back to Houston to spend the weekend with Linh and everyone else. Looking forward to it big time. and i still need to get a blasted haircut >< But as for now...i need to get what i completed of the calculus homework gathered up and ready to turn in at 1pm when i go to my TA session, and get some lunch...a shower and get changed to go.
