Hello everyone!
Sorry for my lack of posting...andwho, my friend Megan wrote this poem, and when I read it I was like, "Hey! This is really, really good!" So I wanted to share it with all of you :)
Whatever happened to the days of being worry free
The worst part of life was a skinned up knee
When we were young all boys where gross
Now all people think about is getting close
Everyone thinks drinking is the way to go
And all they are doing is just going with the flow
Well I want the days back when we didn’t care
And the only thing that scared us was a nightmare
But we all have to realize we aren’t little anymore
Everyone needs to figure out what there living for
For me I know its all about something higher
I just wish everyone would catch that fire
Kids with problems turning to drugs or even a knife
Lord I just wish to you they would give there life
Tonight I’m going to get down on my knees and pray
That everyone could see your glory for just one day
People would see that to live they only need you
And know matter what is going on they can get through
I know that its not back in the day when I was three
But I know Lord with you on my side I’m still free
