It's a lukewarm day
I like warm days, days when it's hot outside and the best thing to do is take a nice cool dip in the pool or springs, or take a nice cold shower. Ice-cream days. Dog days.
I love cold days, days when you can bundle up in as many layers as necessary and enjoy the brisk air, or take a hot, steamy shower, or snuggle up under a few blankets, perhaps with someone for whom you care, and fall asleep in the comparative warmth. Hot cocoa days. Winter nights.
But, my absolute favorite of all days are the lukewarm days. Either the air outside is cool but the sun is warm and shining, or the sky is overcast but the temperature is nice and even. On these, the best of all days, you can enjoy the outdoors without being the slightest bit uncomfortable. Take a warm shower and then, right before you get out, turn the water cold. Take walks in the parks on these days, or go canoing down a river. Or, if you'd rather, just sit with friends or family on the porch or patio and enjoy the wonderful weather. There's no pressure on these days, no stress. Nothing to do that can't wait, and all the time in which to do it. Yes, definitely my favorite of days.
