Ah, life - Rambling update

Well, I'm in intermediate algebra instead of statistics. The class they had me in required more math than I have in my background right now. Glad that got sorted out!

It's been almost 30 years since I last took an algebra class (10th grade?), so I have no shame in saying I received a 67% on the preliminary assessment. Actually, after so long, I think that's not too bad!

But I am beginning to hate word problems with a burning, fiery passion. Just sayin'.

Sobering to think that I will be 46 when I finally graduate with my bachelor's degree. Two things, though: 1 - in 4 years, I'll be 46 no matter what and 2 - I'm thrilled I can do this through Penn State.

Work: It's planting season. We are busy. 'nuff said. I'll be bringing work with me to MediaWest. It's the end of the month and we're busy as anything. So, I may process claims and answer questions and even do a LiveMeeting or two while in Jedi armor or the latest in mercenary wear (glad these aren't video chats!) before heading off to a battle or cantina.

Still single. Haven't yet found the kind of guy who either a) can handle the things I do for fun or b) does the same weird stuff for fun. It's been just over 4 years since my now ex-husband moved out, though, so I'm thinking yeah - time to start seeing what's out there.  Haven't met the right guy yet, though. Lots of weirdos and a stalker or two, but no one I want to spend any quality time with. Maybe I'm being picky. That's okay. I deserve to be picky!

That about wraps it up. Really, I guess it all boils down to SSDD!
