Yeah, that was totally my reaction, too.

Went over and a bunch of us got him down and tranqued. We're good now. I mean, he's still got freaking tentacles springing out of him, but he unconscious. So. Take what you can get.

The whole eating people thing? Totally ruins the appeal of the tentacles. Trust me, kid, I don't think it would have been as fun as it sounds.
