as time goes by
I am still house bound healing from surgery. I feel like it's 3 steps forward 2 steps back.Makenzie takes very good care of me when she is home. she gets home at 3 in the afternoon so it's not too bad, I am by myself only a few hours a day. the pain is much better, but I am still fighting edema in my lower legs and feet. I elevate them and walk around as much as the pain will let me.I keep check in with her to be sure she is doing good and it hasn't been too rough on her. She has my permission to attend Leather events and keep up with the community. She has been nominated for female co-chair for NLA Dallas, I fully support her and think she will do a great job. She is leather through and through, she has a heart for the community. She is much older then her age, I have never met someone that has it all together as she does. I am going to drag my dead ass out to the meeting to vote next month. Anyone who has seen her knows she works her ass off for the community,not for recognition or praise but because things need to be done. She is all about service for service sake. I have found a true pearl of great price.
