WOWEEE!
So I saw The Dark Knight last night with my friend Emily at the Imax theater...HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! The movie was so grand ultimate, it seemed unreal. Major points for Heath Ledger for his portrayal as The Joker, he brought such an original dimension to the role and deserves an Oscar for the performance, as talk about this was happening even before he died. Everything about this movie was super...the 2 1/2 hours that it ran did not seem like it at all, as there were so many interesting things happening throughout it from beginning to end. It was my first time at an Imax theater and it was mindblowing to say the least, way beyond any theaters I've been to, the theater dwarfes AMC, must have been at least 400-500 people in there. The screen was at least thirty feet high and fifty feet wide, probably more than that I'd say, with a super clear high definition transfer. It felt like I was in the movie. The sound was super intense and clear and the seats would shake whenever there would be an explosion or something loud, etc. All in all, just unbelievable. This one will get a 10 out of 10. As for next weekend, I will be heading to Lammas with Donna, Josef and an array of others to Margo's farm for roaring fires, drumming, ritual, swimming, maybe a tad of the drink, sleeping in tents, etc etc.
