Huzzah
I finally got a job interview, and it looks like I'm going to get the job. I'm pretty happy. The job itself is a weekend position as an "Environmental Service Tech". Pretty fancy title. It means that, among other things, I get to take out the garbage. Actually, the job itself is going to involve a lot of responsibility, and I'll actually have to take training courses before I start. The people that I talked to today seem really nice, and I hope that they are a good representation of the employees. Perhaps the best part about the job is that it pays $8.50 an hour. This is significantly more than I was expecting to be paid. What this means is that once I start working on a regular basis I should be able to pay my rent and my utilities/cable without dipping into my checking account or savings bonds.
