WHUP SORRY DUDES I got distracted by convention antics!
Anyway everyone and their moms have seen the new Pokemon (and if you haven't, check out the Veekun collection sheet!)
I've heard a lot are hit or miss, and I agree.....especially with the ice cream pokemon, sob what!! BUT FOR THE MOST PART I super enjoy all the funky designs! A lot of them look like ACTUAL MONSTERS and I love seeing tough/scary looking Pokemon! There is also a good ratio of huggable squishy ones (YORKIEMON <333)
I will chime in and say I don't think the mijumaru/otter line is all that bad. It...actually reminds me of the squirtle line, only with clashing colors :|a (and I think the clamurai second stage is a bit more thought out than Wartortle, and the sea lion makes more sense than SUDDEN CANONS ala blastoise, but that is a rant for another day). I super like that most of the evolutions in general aren't HUGE leaps away from their basic forms, and honestly, I'm getting a lot of First Gen vibes from the new mon :|a MAYBE I'M JUST WIERD? I will elaborate later.
Mostly I'm excited because the BEST WISHES anime premieres tomorrow, yaaaaay 8DDD!!
Anyway, will properly update after work sometime, but here are a few arts!
SEPHICHU!1 drawn for a collab, but we never got around to it. And an Ash and Pikachu for the AWA program book--the theme was sweet things! Didn't get used for the book but a friend saw it on a blood drive poster instead. Yay \o\!
I was gonna do a Red vs Blue print/poster but got lazy, and find it hard to draw them all badass looking on purpose 8|a Oh wells.
Aaaand posters made for AWA! Vegeta vs Jigglypuff got a lot of hilarious responses and possibly ruined friendships :') Eevees got love cuz they are EEVEES and maintain balance in the pokemon world. or something.
