"A student cannot receive finanical aid if they are enrolled in a degree seeking program and have attempted more than 93 credit hours or if they are enrolled in a certificate program and have attempted more than 45 credit hours.

Attempted Credit Hours Include: Classes with an earned letter grade of A, B, C, D, or S.
Classes with an unearned letter grade of E, DR, I, or U.
Reapeated Classes.
Classes transferred from other college ors universities.
Classes paid with student's own money or other resources"

From the Henry Ford Finanical Aid Facts Booklet 2007/2008.

I was going to go for medical assisting...which is a certificate program. However, I have over 62 credits RIGHT NOW---not including the classes I am currently taking nor the classes I would have to take next year.

If I was to go with nursing, my credits would exceed 90 by time I was done--The waiting list is at least 1 1/2 year (I'm not even on the waiting list), and the program itself is tow years long.

I'm fucked.

I have no other options.

So much almost being happy and done with school.
So much for being in school.
So much quitting smoking...
