*He enters the Raven with Mikami in a fine, well-cut suit, glancing around at the guests with a pleasant smile*

*Mikami will be Mikami and he enters the establishment dressed impeccably. His gaze went over the sea of guests, noting their names and date.

There were some with a long lines and swirls of numbers that told Mikami they were not human. Then again, the Raven was an establishment for vampires, it was to be expected. Mikami stood close to Kira.*

There are a number of non-humans in this place, Yagami-kun. *This was said in whisper.*

*He still could not bring himself to call his God by his first name yet.*

I'm aware. *Light responds easily, taking in his surroundings, and nodding to those he found familiar* But they won't touch you without permission. The host won't allow it.

Lacroix has certainly outdone himself with this function.

*Though he already knew this, it felt a little better being reminded. The Underground has always made him feel uneasy. It was only because Kira requested his presence by His side that the prosecutor was here at all. Mikami still did not understand His reasoning, but he was honored all the same.*

Working, as usual. [reaches out and brushes hairs away from his face] I believe, precious, it's time for a haircut.

Arthur's been busy as well.

*He laughs a little and runs his hand through his hair* Really, Saya; it's fine.

Ah, yes. He is. I never knew he was such a workaholic as well.

[gazes at Mikami] Is he your pet?

Cut my hair? You're a person with many talents; I heard you could repair automobiles, too.

Hm? Ah-no. He's a friend. Mikami, this is Saya. Saya, this is Mikami Teru.

I can, and do, quite often.

[tips her head slighly] Mr. Teru.

You look precious tonight. Edible, almost.

*He has been standing quietly by Kira's side all this while as he watched their exchanges. Mikami stepped forward as Kira introduced him to Saya and extended a hand with a slight smile. Saya's words as a pet did not faze him at all.*

I must have given you a poor impression then, Miss Saya. It is a pleasure to finally meet the person that Yagami-san has spoke about at length.

*Gone was his usually impassive mask. Mikami could be sociable when the occasion. Her comment though, was received with a raised eyebrow though he did not reply her. He was a little at lost as what to say. This was not the environment he was familiar with.*

*He watches the exchange for a moment, watching Mikami introduce himself, and musing that he really ought to bring him out more. The man ha a particular charm that he could use to his advantage, especially with others*

*Turning to Saya, he's mildly surprised* Hm? Just a little private time with a friend, you know how it goes. *he smiles faintly, careful with his words even here, in case Naomi or any of the others decided that it would be a good idea to bug the place.*

*He laughs a little, and gestures to Mikami. Well, at least for tonight.* I really can't hide anything from you, can I, Saya?
