Didn't get magically better so I had to go to the doctor again yesterday, got new meds without the "fun" side effects and used the last two (hopefully last) sick days to be a greedy asshole in Dragon Age: Origins (very cathartic) and to watch Sherlock, because my flist told me to.

Sherlock was fun, but I think I'd be a lot more impressed with him if I had actually understood his analyses of John in the taxi in the very first episode. What is it with shows putting the dialog to the lowest volume, and letting the characters almost-whisper while they are in a pretty loud environment and then SUDDENLY BLASTING REALLY FUCKING LOUD MUSIC INTO YOUR FACE. Ungh.

That gripe aside, I really liked the cases (even though I wasn't really content with how the first one ended) and the guys' dynamic.

The only reaction the OMG CLIFFHANGER!!11 got out of me, though, was only a vaguely amused "lol, 'kay". Idk, maybe Supernatural and Stargate Universe have desensitized me in that regard? I mean, I can really only see two possible outcomes, VAGUE SPOILERS: a) Sherlock bluffs their way out of there, all three of them live or b) BOOM!, all three of them live anyway.
Poor sniper-henchmen, so expandable. VAGUE SPOILERS END

Or am I missing something here? D:
