I wondered about that as well, how much time passed between the Adam & Eve scene and The End, because it really does look like a change happened to the slave/master dynamic. I hope we'll get more about that :x
Yesssssss, but his memories were so painful! You can't really run anymore, because he's old, but he still commands respect, and then his death... "Sit down for a moment and rest..." I KNEW WHAT YOU WERE GOING TO DO THERE, GAME, BUT IT STILL HURT ): And then I thought at least Ezio's last part in the game would be on a happier note right? But nope, that he talked to Desmond and the shoulder touching totally didn't help. And then we get the end of the world, and I was just emotionally done XD
Haven't gotten around to Ambers yet, but I expect an explanation of how the Apple got from the "library" to the Colosseum!
Speaking of boring deaths, what the fuck was that thing with Yusuf. I mean, sure, he did annoy the ever living fuck out of me with his "hahaha, you're old Ezio, ooooooooooooold, old old old and did I mention old?" what that was just a really unnecessary.
edit: I wanted to talk about Revelations with some boys in my class (I overheard them mentioning it), but dude A was just shocked, SHOCKED!, that a ~girl~ would play video games, and a ~brutal~ game like this at that, and dude B isn't even halfway through yet.
The apple under the Colosseum is not the same apple as the one Altair gets from his master. Ezio finds his in Minerva's vault in ACII and hides it under the Colosseum in ACIII. It wasn't a very clear scene, but he remarks about it. At least from what I could tell anyway. Whe the hell Ezio does with Altair's apple after finding it is a good question though, probably one they are saving for ACV. In ACI they showed a shitload of vaults hidden around the world and they could all contain apples, since the old race seemed to mass produce them to control people. Makes you wonder when the series will actually end. XD
lol Yuself. He was a tool just to get Ezio poor pissed and to show that being an assassin means loss and pain and etc. Doesn't compare to everyone you walk by going "YOU ARE TO OLD TO BE DOING THAT OLD MAN." lol I think the guards even throw the old thing in your face. Poor Ezio. Maybe he heard it so damn much he believed it and that is why Embers is so depressing. heh.
Embers is well, lets just say it makes Ezio look like a total pussy compared to Altair and with a piss poor attitude to boot. For that reason I think it is sadder. LOL
I thought the saddest part of Altair's memories is seeing Maria several times as he walks up to kill that fucktard with daddy issues.
... oops. Somewhat a huge thing to miss XD Damn, you're right. Considering how many apples there could still be, it seems somewhat weird that they want have the next AC to include the ending of the world ('cause they predicted it in game for 2012 or something). o.O
I know there's some civilians who say "not bad for his old age" or something like that as well. Poor Ezio, everyone disses him.
Embers really was depressing in a way, for me mostly because he was sick and that made the fighting almost painful to watch. Unlike Altair, he didn't have dozens of Assassins at his call :/ The ending had me a bit confused, though, and so far the internet has been less than helpful to figure it out. The asshole who's sitting next to Ezio on the bench, Ezio seemed to recognize him or something? The scar he had seemed very noticeable, so my first thought was maybe another Assassin line? But the way Ezio did right after the asshole told him to rest was reaaaaaaaaally suspicious, imo. What did you think about this?
Now I really, really want a game featuring Jun's journey to be a Mentor. And if they don't give her an own game (for a real platform, please, not just a handheld), it will feel really weird. Like a wasted opportunity.
Yes, seeing her ghost during that last part was really well done.
