Sorry for the belated post!
First week in the new office was wonderful. Everybody treats me like a fellow human being, and... it's just completely different. I think I already learned more in those few days than I did in almost an entire year in the other office. They take the time to explain things to me. The atmosphere is warm, and they joke a lot with each other. I am really, ridiculously happy.
Watched X-Men 4 this weekend. So, so good. The slow build up and the party member recruitment reminded me a lot of Inception. And I don't know what was more deliciously painful, the parting of Erik and Charles or of Charles and Raven. Both were so well done. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it, about how they all ended up. I don't think they showed us Mystique's reaction to the news of Charles' death in X-Men 3. And when she was "cured", did she regret her choice? (And damn, the only think Magneto had to say to her was "A pity, she was so beautiful", and when you take X-Men 4 into account... that seems to be all he ever thought of her. That she was pretty to look at.) And, ooooh. The beach scene. That scene. Just. I can't even describe it. SO MANY FEELINGS.
I really do hope I didn't just imagine reading somewhere that they're planning to make this into a new trilogy, because I need more. Like, yesterday. [On that note, whatever happened to the Star Trek (2009) sequels?]
I just watched Game of Thrones 1x09, and. And... /helpless hand gesture
This is almost too good to be on tv. I AM SO GLAD I WASN'T SPOILERED FOR HIS DEATH. It was so powerful. I honestly can't say whose storyline I am enjoying the most. Or name my favorite character. It's just so damn good, all of it. AND NEXT WEEK IS ALREADY THE FINALE!? Shiiiiiiit, I can smell the Cliffhanger of Doom already.
Oh, and I have a new layout, header from Woodkid's song Iron. Yes, the one from the Assassin's Creed Revelations trailer, which left me absolutely cold, because it looks different from the previous AC games how exactly? But that song. Seriously, watch the video, it's a vacation for your eyes.
