Thanks! I'm trying to figure out about payment too. After some thought, it occured to me that your bank might not take plain old foreign cheques, so I'll see about getting traveler's cheques in Canadian dollars for you, if that's alright with you. :)
I know for sure they can take USD, but I'm pretty sure if I go to the teller and tell her (lol) that it's in rupees or pounds or whatever, they'll change it. I don't think there's a charge either.
Sorry, do you mean they can change regular foreign cheques or traveler's cheques? I think I'd be happier if you found out before I sent it, if that's okay. I don't want you to have to go through the trouble if they can't change them. I'm thinking of sending the cheque before the order arrives, as well, so you can get it all sorted out and send the order on right away, because I'm really impatient. :)
I know for sure they change foreign cheques... I've neither seen nor touched a traveler's cheque in my entire life lol.
When I get home, I will do a rough weigh-in or 10 imps and a 5mL bottle with an envelope on my bathroom scale to get the shipping charge, and I'll email you the total :)
Yeah, I know - that's what I meant. 4-5 extra is a lot! :) I'm excitable. I finally had chocolate today after a month of craving it but not having any, which equals me being very enthusiastic about everything!
Yeah, I'm looking forward to eating lots of sweets on Halloween, because I've been really good all year so far. I've lost about 15 pounds since about April, but I'm not going to deny myself a few well-earned treats. There were raisins hidden inside the chocolate... I'm healthy, right? :)
