Monday I went and took the Military IQ exam and I qualified to train for any position the Army has to offer. I've been thinking about joing one branch of the service for so long, since about the begining of Freshman year. All the plans were up in the air though, but my time in school is running out and I need to think about the future. A lot of people are like "No don't do it, There's no point, You'll die or get beheaded, Why you want to fight someone else's war, and Bush sucks". Well I have no idea what path I'm going to go with, but if I do take the opportunity to enlist I'm going to train to be a mechanic so I come out of it with a lifelong benefit in the end, and it gives me more than enough experience to go make a living afterwards. Hey if I do perish, then so be it, I joined knowing the possibilities and all such risks I took by doing so, "Things happen for a reason", I guess. One thing though and remeber this, I'm not going out a coward, I'll be more than proud, dignified and strong for someone to tell the story to anyone who asks, that I went out the best way a solider could, that I went out fighting and I didn't have any regrets and or fears, that I died with Honor and Courage. I died an American, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Goodnight.
