A Good Start To The Week

So the past few weeks have been very nice because Kobe (the psychotic kid in my class) has not been there. On Friday he got suspended until tomorrow and starting tomorrow he starts going to 1st grade half days. Have you ever heard of a first grader going half days? Me neither. But this is something that has to be done until some type of intervention takes place. He is going to seriously hurt one of the other kids or one of his teachers. (Of course, the kick in the stomach did not feel too good!) We shall see how tomorrow goes. Without him here though, it has been a totally different classroom. My mentor teacher and I have felt so much better. We are not always on edge...we get more accomplished during the day...it is not as stressful. Not to say that is still isn't hard, but it is different. Sad to say something like that, but is is true. I NEVER remember a kid acting like this in elementary school. Many of the teachers believe a lot of the acting out (not just in Kobe, but in many students) has to do to all the drug use that occurs. They told me that if you were to compare classes 10 years ago to classes now...the difference would be incredible. JUST SAY NO!

Can I just say how much I love Diet Sunkist...it is delicious. Just a random thought that I thought I would share. Hopefully you enjoyed it!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA...this weekend was a blast. I went over to Stacey's on Sunday because she brought New Kids on the Block videos back from home. Can I just tell you how must I enjoyed that. I swear my childhood came rushing back. It was hilarious. Oh how I loved the late 80's, early 90's. The words just came rushing back to me...I apparently have never forgotten them.

Now, I am going to take a little cat nap. Prepare myself for tomorrow when Kobe gets back. Pray for me.
