The Poetry reading/sound performance tonight was quite a trip. Much thanks to Alex and Nick for joining us, it was a trip. I wasn't expecting ANOTHER guy (Nick) to have some sounds prepared, and they were really impressive (despite the fact that some parts didn't go exactly accordingto plan) The reading was quite interesting. To all that came (very few of whom will stumble across this most likely) thank you for your interest.
Had some trip-ass moments, and reading "Regimes" was something of a personal breakthrough, and I can understand entirely why some people feel like gods after such experiences, because that bug bit me tonight too.
And, as promised, at least half of the crowd was offended to some degree. though we were still praised by some of the very "victims..."
Interesting...
Sounds: Used the computation track I made, "Control Room of the Universe" as hoarty read from his Surface of a Plane collection.
Poems:
Stream
Piracy
Perhaps In Dreams (is it pretentious to write a response poem to William Blake?)
Not a Word of Pretense
The Stuff Regimes are Made Of (Short Story/performance)
Fibunacci
...was that all?
More to come...
