Well, I don't think the elevator was supposed to look like a disco ball, it just did when combined with the afro.

Other than that, I don't really know how to explain it because it doesn't make sense.

It's a TV show they air in Nagoya in the middle of the night that goes for two and a half minutes and every day they have a different corner with a different English theme word - the catch being that it's all vocab that won't appear on an English exam. It's based on a series of books and stars Nagoya's biggest boy band, BOYS AND MEN. A.k.a. the group (troupe?) Hirano Sho was part of before he became Johnny's.

The guy in the afro is the guy from the live-action Naze Todoin Seiya if you ever watched that.

OMG I LOOKED IT UP IT'S SO WEIRD HAHA. One of those things that make me go "Why Japanese people?" but love anyway. I watched a couple of the promotional short clips on youtube but I couldn't find any decent quality actual episodes.

Then I read your post again and went to the comm you mentioned so I will certainly be taking that tomorrow. I need more cheesy hilarious engrish. So thank you I guess for both introducing and providing it for me lol XD

Oh and I'm sorry I just followed you back on twitter lol just like LJ they don't notify me about these things sometimes.

No worries about Twitter. I like hardly ever go on that thing anyway. =)

Let me know what you think of the show once you've started watching!

It's unreal! I've only watched up till Chapter 6 though cause downloading it takes a while for me haha.
I can't wait to give the making a look though I can't imagine them going through this thing with a straight face. Who came up with this show anyway... Japan never ceases to amaze me.

Sorry, they're so big; I'm too lazy to re-encode.

In the makings, they're actually pretty professional about the whole thing even if they do think it's ridiculous.
