Don't bring the cake-eater over here anymore, he smells like flour.

Today's my birthday. Twenty years old. If I were in Japan this would be my coming of age day. Hatachi desu yo. I went home on Tuesday to see my family and ate cake and watched some David lynch short movies. I've been getting presents for the past few weeks, because my parents don't know what to get me so when I shop witht hem they just bought some stuff I picked out. Most recently I got a sweet Star Wars shirt from my sister and Walk the Line Special Edition finally.

Best poster art ever.
I also bought another buttload of DVDs from Suncoast, they need to hurry up and go out of business before I run out of money.

I went to lunch with my friend Sara earlier, it was really nice. But I'm used to the idea of not making too much of a big deal about my birthday or having a big party and whatnot, it's just not like it used to be...

I dressed up in a suit today for no real reason today, other than to celebrate my birthday. Oh and because the head of the Japanese department sat in our class this morning. That's a viable excuse right? I dress up all the time, I guess I don't really need a reason.

P.S. I mostly updated today so people on LJ will also feel the need to comment and wish me happy birthday. I'm so good at fishing for compliments. lol
