I finally put my new shirt design up for sale. It's the one that was inspired by Castlevania and has some bats flying from a belfry to a Poison Apple moon :)
Order it Here!!! I still don't have a picture for the women's version but I'm sure I'll find a model soon. I also have my Celtic Cross shirt design with my logo ready but my mother says it's sacrilegious so I have to change it it.
Last weekend I was able to have sushi and drinks with my old high school friend, Catherine. She actually lived in Argentina for years and moved back to US a month ago and now we're neighbors. How weird is that?
I Am Not Batman
At this point of my life I am very susceptible to things I see on TV that have the word "Man" in it. This includes Batman, Survivor Man, and Man vs. Wild. I was watching Batman Begins today and there's a part in the movie where Batman gives up all his riches and disappears into the unknown.
I told myself, "Hey, if Batman can do it, why can't I?"
I stopped by my parents house to say goodbye and asked my mom what she thought about me walking the mini-nature trail behind their house as a warm up to my whole disappearing into the unknown thing. She said it was snake season and that there were lots of mountain lions or coyotes back there so it was a bad idea.
I thought to myself that this is exactly what Batman's mother would have said if she lived in a house in Anaheim Hills and survived that whole shooting outside of the opera thing.
I decide to go anyway. I'm wearing my cowboy boots so I have a bit of snake protection for my ankles and blasting my ipod to get me pumped up to fight a bear.
My journey starts out slow and I walk the trail. I see nothing but trees and bugs and hear rustling in the bushes of critters that might want to eat me or maybe my future afternoon snack.
After a while I see holes for snakes or gophers or those monsters from Tremors and hear animals scurrying around. And after about 15 minutes of walking from the house I'm so tired that I want to make camp and continue in the morning but I press on.
At this point all I want to do is fight something wild like Batman did with his bats. Maybe I would see a moose and I would fight it and then become Mooseman and fight crime wearing antlers. This is what I really want.
An hour passes and I am again close to civilization. The trail ends behind a movie theater where I live and I take a picture of the marque.
The Runs? That movie sounds gross.
This is the end of my adventure. I realize I am neither Batman or Mooseman. I am just me.
I guess that's it so far this week. Oh, I got bored and made a 3D animation of my car. :P
Have a wonderful rest of the week!
Oh, my roommate hid some toy that makes noise in my room and I can't find it. I'm going crazy. I'm going to go look for it. Wish me luck!
