The Milan defender commented the Scottish excellent start to the qualifiers which sees them topping the group ahead of Italy in the race for a
place in Euro 2008.
Massimo Oddo is surprised by Scotland's brilliant start to their Euro 2008 qualifying campaign, especially by the fact that they are topping the group along with France and ahead of Italy.
"They started much better than us, as we lost important points on the road against France and Lithuania," explained the Italian full-back.
"We must be extremely careful in this match, because the Scottish have the prerogative of never giving up."
The encounter between Italy and Scotland will be held in Bari next Wednesday, with the Azzurri needing a win at all costs in order to keep their Euro 2008 dream alive. Roberto Donadoni will announce the full squad on Friday which will be used for this match after the Italian national coach had initially called 25 players for the training camp.
