The Milan player believes that the Giallorossi will be competing for the league title and have every chance of winning the Scudetto at the end of this season.
Massimo Oddo is ready to bet on Roma as title challengers following their impressive 2-0 win at Palermo on Sunday evening in the first matchday of Serie A.
"For the league, Roma are also in the run," declared the former Lazio player. "Roma played very well, just like Milan and Juventus. However, we can't draw any conclusions yet.
"Roma surprised me positively as they played an exceptional game," he continued. "I thought that Palermo could do something more. A 2-0 away from home on such a pitch is the confirmation of how good the team is."
On the other hand, Oddo was disappointed with Napoli.
"I expected more from Napoli. I did not think that they would lose the first match in Serie A."
Milan will face Sevilla on Friday night for the final of the European Super Cup.
"With regards to the Super Cup, we obviously want to win. It's an important competition and it's the first trophy we can lift this year.
"We're fine and we have proved this even on Sunday when we succeeded in managing our strengths. Ronaldo is fine and even Emerson is training with the group."
