I had some dentistry work done on Friday and I had to get the left side of my mouth frozen up. Everything unfroze after about 24 hours ... except exactly left half of my tongue. It's still same! I wonder if I can get disability? People with diminished eyesight and hearing get help ... is there any help for diminished taste?

I had the same sort of thing happen to my tongue when I had my wisdoms pulled. The dental surgeon called it "numb tongue" I was like: "is that the technical term for it?"
He actually bruised a nerve in my tongue. Its been about 8 months and I'm still slowly recovering.
Anyway, time to start challenging unwitting people to spicy food eating contests. Suicide wings anyone?
