"Look, you both have plausible reasons behind your demands. What we need to reach is a compromise. Obviously, Wrex, they cannot have their cure done any time soon. And Victus, you can't just expect the Krogan to go and kill the rest of their race off for a species that isn't even their own. So, we compromise. Victus, you order your best scientists to work on that cure. We have a Salarian on board, Mordin, who will be helping you. I'll explain that in more detail later. Wrex, you order some of your troops to Palaven, but not all. That way, both of your end goals are reached." Shepard crossed his arms as well, leaning onto one leg.
The two aliens stayed quiet for a moment. Wrex shook his head.
"Not doable. I'm not wasting my time or my troops for narcissistic prisses like this worthless scumbag. He's not even worth killing!" The Urdnot turned and stormed back to the opposite side of the table.
"And just a few isn't enough! It won't make enough of a difference. The uncivilized gorillas will turn on us as soon as they have the cure! Besides that, our top scientists need to be working on the crucible and better technology to defend against the Reapers, not a bunch of violent lunatics." Victus sniffed, obviously disgruntled. Shepard scowled.
"You know what? No. Screw it. I'm not going to waste my time playing babysitter with two kids. Sort this out yourself." Shepard spun on his heels, walking straight out the door, not breaking his stride once until he got to the elevator. As he rode up, he was fairly certain he heard the sound of Wrex smashing something. He just hoped it wasn't the Primarch.
