“I know it looks bad, but I think he’ll grow out of it. Either through boot camp or through us. Although, I think I have an idea…” Garrus removed his arms from around the woman for a moment just to check something on his omni-tool before he went back to cradling Shepard, his chin on top of her head. “One of my old drill sergeants, General Argyre. He still works at Lucius’ recruit camp and he was old as hell even during my days there."
She just had to ask. "What’s he like?"
"A ruthless son of a bitch, that's what,” that made her snort. “He had a bone to pick with me especially. I wasn't exactly the most obedient recruit."
The redhead removed herself slightly from his chest to look at her turian husband, tilting her head at him in an innocent way. "Really? I can't possibly imagine why."
He rolled his eyes slightly which made her chuckle lightly. Garrus repositioned his hands on her shoulders as he continued. "Anyway, he sent me a message a while ago about Lucius. He said if this is revenge for all the times he put me through hell, he’ll consider it a challenge.”
“How nice of him,” the woman retaliated with sarcasm. “You think he’ll whip him into top shape?”
Garrus went silent for a moment before shrugging. “If he can’t, then…”
She wasn’t even surprised anymore. “How reassuring.”
Not a moment too soon, the doorbell rang. The woman quickly walked over to the door, only mostly knowing who was going to be standing there. Opening it revealed the figure of a tall turian female with recognizable blue markings on her face; Garrus’ sister and Shepard’s sister-in-law.
"Hey, I heard what happened,” Solana peeked around the door to get a good look at both the human female and the turian male in the background. “Is Lucius okay?”
Shepard quickly explained. “He’s alright, Solana. We’ll take care of the rest.”
The turian female folded her arms nonchalantly. "I kinda expected that. He’s nearly as good at not getting himself killed as you, Shepard,” that was usually a compliment, if a rather snarky one. Solana then shrugged. “Although I still don't know if you two are raising a kid or a weapon of mass destruction."
“Weapon, Sol. Weapon,” Garrus announced loudly from the living room, resuming his reading of the previously abandoned datapad as he tried not to laugh too much. “We gotta secure that turian-human superiority in the galaxy somehow.”
“Yup. Next stop: the Citadel Council,” the redhead went along with it, smiling all the way. “They won’t even know what hit them.”
Solana's mandibles flared slightly, not particularly surprised. “Have fun. Don’t forget to let me know when you take on the universe.”

Amazing A!A!
I really love how you managed to insert a Mean girls reference.
I love the voice you gave to Garrus's father.
And I really really love Shepard's and Garrus's kid Lucious. I feel like he is a perfect blend of Garrus's intelligence (kid seems really good at math) and rule breaking and Shepard's persistence, her way of talking herself out of situations, and her bad driving.
And if A!A ever feels inspiration for a prequel that includes any or all of the following: - Garrus introducing Shepard to his father - Garrus's dad and FemShep getting to know each other -his dad experienceing SHepard's driving skills firsthand -Shepard's, Garrus's and grandpa's reactions when they find out Shepard is pregnant -The delivery of baby Lucius -midnight feedings that Garrus, Shepard, and even grandpa participate in - Introducing baby!lucious to the rest of the crew (bonus points for Wrex and Shepard setting up play dates between their children).
