"Both Past and Present Tense" Saren/Nihlus 7/? anonymous December 8 2014, 05:25:51 UTC
Nihlus re-entered the room and Saren couldn't stop himself from looking at him as he sat back on the bed. He had a bottle of something, slightly obscured by a towel. “Thought you might want to...uh...”

“Thank you.” He reached for the towel, but Nihlus wordlessly denied him, patting his stomach with the towel instead.

“Nihlus, you - “

“I want to.” Nihlus said softly. “Please.”

He sat up on his elbows, watching Nihlus polish the odd white bone of his chest plates. Unlike Nihlus, he had no variation in color, in tone - he was all bone-white, from head to toe.

(Even Desolas, he remembered, had had some grey to his plates. Paleness was always rare, but his albinism came from his biotics. Eezo contamination in his skin tissue. Permanent. Nothing to be done about it. Desolas had told him not to dwell on it and for all the time they were together, he hadn't. After Desolas was gone, and he was the last Arterius, though, that last bit of pale white in a sea of brown - then, the doubts came, and they spiraled, filling the space in his heart that once housed his brother's spirit.)

Once he'd been polished to Nihlus' satisfaction, Nihlus wiped at his own chest and threw the towel down, instantly forgotten when he moved between his former mentor's legs, tentatively running a hand between his thighs.

“So...uh...How do you want to....?” Nihlus was very, very carefully avoiding looking at him. Did his apprentice want to be on top?

Well, if he thought he was going to get Saren Arterius on his back twice in one night, he was wrong, Saren thought, pride overpowering his nerves. He sat up and effortlessly pushed Nihlus down next to him. Nihlus laughed, and spread his legs wide.

“Be gentle.” Nihlus said, a mocking hint under his sub-tones, as he took the bottle from Nihlus' hand.

Saren flicked his mandibles into a rarely practiced smile.

He glanced down at the bottle of Armor-All Nihlus put into his hands, and stopped smiling.

“Spirits, Kryik, armor lubricant?”

Nihlus mandibles pulled tight to his jaw. “I wasn't planning on fucking! I didn't pack for this. It's the best I could find.”

“You, who has sixteen asari in every port, didn't pack any lubrication.” He blinked.

“Uh, asari don't...” He coughed. “They're like our women, you know? Down there. They don't....need that. And anyway, I haven't been with an asari in years.”

He blinked, processing that information as Nihlus covered his eyes with his hand. “Anyway...I did an extranet search. It's....safe, for this purpose. Popular side use of the stuff, actually.”

Saren shook his head. “We're going to smell like Armor-All all day tomorrow.”

“Maybe all night, too.” Nihlus laughed, and he looked up, startled.

Nihlus' smile faded. “Unless you don't want to anymo...”

His words died out as Saren rolled the lubricant between his fingers and then onto a more sensitive area of Nihlus' body, albeit one that in this position, he could barely see.

“Lift your hips.”

“Okay.” Nihlus did as he asked, and he seized the opportunity to rub some more of the lubricant on Nihlus' opening. Nihlus winced.

“Problem?”

“Hmm, no.” Nihlus grinned, and Saren willed himself not to shake from the sensation dancing through his fringe. “Just...Damn, that feels weird.”

“Going to feel weirder in a moment.” He said, slipping one finger around the edges of his apprentice's entrance. “Stop?”

“No.” Nihlus shook his head. “I'm not some delicate hanar flower, Saren.”

“Hmph.” With that, he slid one finger in to the knuckle, and watched Nihlus' face, which was... disappointing. Nihlus had his eyes shut tight, mandibles pulled to his jaw - both signs of discomfort.

“Relax.”

“It's....I'm fine.” Nihlus opened his eyes and looked at him as he moved his finger in and out. “Just...new at this. Sorry."
