Matriarchs meeting hall, Thessia
About twenty asari matriarchs were sitting in a room, watching video footage of sexual encounters between humans and various (sometimes multiple) asari.
Information about such gathering could be sold to tabloids for millions... so it was a good thing that the security of that room was second tightest on Thessia.
“I believe this new species is a great success” the lead matriarch finally said after watching and listening to moaning couples for a while.
“They are physically compatible with us, both their males and females are attracted to us and they respond very well to our pheromones...” she continued.
“I still say we should have had taken control of them completely...” a more militant matriarch complained.
“No” another disagreed. “They have great potential. They just need our... guidance to realize it without taking on the path of batarians, quarians or krogans...”
“I agree” the lead matriarch said. “I propose that passive observation... along with immediate infiltration of their highest political circles only... is sufficient at this point” she proposed and started a vote.
Most of the hands raised.
“Majority in favor” she announced.
“Good” another matriarch said. “Seeing the videos, I think our maidens are going to keep those humans in the fold even without our intervention, anyway...” she chuckled.
“Easy for you to say” a matriarch dressed in yellow dress said. “You all have matron daughters... but mine is only 80 at the moment... she might very well select a human lover... and I hope I do not have to kill him or her” she frowned, earning sympathetic smiles from the rest of them.
The lead matriarch pretended to smile too, but her mind was already on different matter.
She had a very strong reason to advance this new species as fast as possible that she shared with almost no one, not even with the matriarch council.
She looked at the monitors.
“If the information that that crazy prothean VI from the archives keeps shouting at us turns out to be accurate... we are going to need them” she sighed.
