Miranda’s eyes lit up at the news that Jack was going to be back for the party. She usually only got to see her lover sporadically when they were rarely at the palace at the same time, or when she was out gathering intelligence and took the time to visit Jack’s post if she was in the area. “Thank you,” Miranda said quietly, suspecting that Shepard had only order Jack to attend for her sake.
“If you really want to thank me, tell me that we’re done for the day and I can focus my attention on other, more pleasurable, things,” Shepard said. “I promise to read through the rest of the dossiers before the nobles start arriving and come to you with any questions I might have. All right?”
Miranda gave Shepard a quick bow, still smiling at the thought of seeing her lover again soon. “Of course, Sultana. If you have need of me -”
Shepard grinned. “I’ll send for you. But I have a feeling I won’t need you for at least a couple of hours.” Briefly, the Sultana toyed with the idea of inviting Miranda to say for a little while, but part of her wasn’t ready to share her slave yet. Soon, she would need to consider the best way to introduce Liara to sex with other people, but for now, Shepard was happy to keep the maiden all to herself.
Once Miranda had left the room, Shepard leaned back further in her chair, trying to decide what she wanted to do to Liara once Sha’ira brought her in. It had been two days - what felt like an eternity - since Shepard had last found the time to summon her in between the busy preparations. Spending a few hours with Liara would be a welcome relief from the stress of readying the palace for her guests. Everything needed to go off without a hitch if she wanted to maintain diplomatic relations with her neighbors.
Before her thoughts could veer too far into unpleasant territory, Shepard heard the door to her study open again. Sha’ira stepped inside, with Liara following close at her heels. Her head was bowed, although she was quick to steal a peek at Shepard lounging in her chair. “I am sorry for the delay, Sultana,” Sha’ira said. “I had some difficulty finding your slave. It seems she was involved in a game of kepesh yakshi in the garden.”
Shepard was slightly surprised, but now that Liara was here, she was suddenly less impatient. “Thank you, Sha’ira,” she said, waving a hand towards the door. “You are dismissed. And I wish you good luck with Captain Williams. She could definitely use a few hours alone with you to help ease some of her tension.”
Sha’ira sighed slightly before backing out through the door and shutting it behind her, leaving Shepard and Liara alone. “So, kepesh yakshi?” Shepard purred, giving Liara a quick up-and-down as the asari hurried to remove her shift. She was pleased to see that her slave was smiling, and although she still blushed whenever she had to appear naked before Shepard, she no longer seemed afraid of the prospect, either. She had grown used to it over the past few months. “Not chess, this time?”
“I wanted a chance to win, Mistress,” Liara said, letting her shift fall to the floor and folding her hands behind her back, presenting herself for Shepard’s inspection. “I am afraid changing games didn’t help.”
“Don’t feel bad,” Shepard said, pushing herself up and out of the chair in front of her desk. “No one ever beats Samantha. But right now, I’m in need of your attention.” She was pleased when she noticed Liara shiver at her words. “Come here. I want to touch you.”

Sheepishly: Shaira!anon here. Tentatively excited for what you guys have in store for us at the party. Also, really loving the dynamic between Ashley and Sha'ira. If sultry looks could make sparks fly, the entire palace would aflame.

Yeeeahh... If Liara remains hidden from the guests as Shepard doesn't want to share her, it means neight Benezia nor Shiala are going to see her. Shiala is the most reasonable wife choice, I can but hope it's not too late for them all to avoid the unwanted marriage. Oh this is so delicious!!!
Is Liara jealous of other harem girls? Are Aria and Tevos coming to the party? No don't tell me, this story is too good for spoilers. More please more.

I'm kind of hoping the reveal takes the form of an interrupted three-way. Shiala does seem like one of the better wife choices, so she could be all like, "Sure you can bring a harem girl into the bedroom every once in a... WHYTHEHELL IS BENEZIA'S DAUGHTER HERE!"
Not sure if that's how things are gonna go down, I'm sure A!A's will make it great no matter what, but if it was like that it'd be funny as hell.

Oh my, the tension between Ashley and Sha'ira is getting so strong that I'm starting to look forward to their inevitable fucking more than anything in the story and that's saying A LOT. Hm Benezia's daughter.. I wonder who it could be.. xD Also, that party sounds fun with all those guests coming (heh heh heh).
The party is gonna be a lot of fun, but just wait until the Shepard/Liara/Miranda/Jack/Aria/Tevos orgy that starts off book 4. @_@ I know it's not for a while, but psychotic-cat and I have PLANS!
