Two gift!fics
Two fics, both written for damalur for the Yuletide 2010 fic exchange. damalur's requests included pre-canon fics about the major characters, and fic about FemShep adjusting to life after her resurrection. I found both prompts inspiring, so I did a fic for each.
Title: Once and Future Heroes
Characters: Fem!Shepard, all ME 1 and ME 2 squadmates except Morinth and Grunt
Rating/Warnings: T for some violent imagery and a bit of mild language
Word Count: 6,569
Summary: Even those who will one day achieve greatness have hopes, dreams, disappointments, and moments of normalcy along the way--at least, as normal as is possible for this bunch. A collection of glimpses at the lives of Shepard and her squadmates before they became galactic heroes.
Notes: Morinth isn't included because I don't really think of her as a full-fledged squadmate, and Grunt isn't included because he technically doesn't have any pre-canon experiences aside from being grown in a tank.
