Hidden Manufacturers
Has anyone ever figured out what the deal is with the Hidden Manufacturers in the game?

Are they manufacturers that have been cut from the final version of the game (but still have data ensconced in the PC version) or are they exclusive only to the PC version? And for that matter, does any of the armor look different, or is it another case of 'Predator X is Mantis armor with a new name'?
Assuming the PC cheats for the armor spawn work, that is.
Obviously they're not completely fake, otherwise the admin of the ME Wiki would have nuked 'em. (And she's pretty strict about having accurate, canonical information for the most part)
Truth be told, I wouldn't be surprised if at least two of these companies show up in the sequel.
