(no subject)
So, my fellow fanfic writers, what do you do when you have two characters in a room who won't behave? And I don't mean "wont' behave" in the good way when the characters seem to take on a life of their own outside of your plans for plot and whatnot. I'm talking about when you have two characters who simply stare at each other and do nothing in a very boring way.
I have a piece I'm working now that's been giving me fits all week. I've written and rewritten scenes--added some, discarded others, and still parts of it feel clunky and forced. I also have no way to end it and that bothers me. Usually endings come to me in the beginning or they come to me on the way. That hasn't happened with this one.
Please tell me this has happened to someone else?
