Theme success!

After a great deal of trial and error, I now have what I would consider a freaking sweet setup on my desktop.  For anyone who might be interested (and runs Windows 7; don't know how well things work on 8) I have managed to get all the steps and links organized and compiled.  For the record, I make no claim to having done anything more than organizing the sounds and putting all the pieces together.  All credit for the sound files goes to pearlieblue and burpinator, (those were some awesome finds!) and work on the links I post belong to the respective page owners.  As I said, I just put all the pieces together. :D

Edit: Seems a bit silly to add this information, but I just confirmed, after being asked by a coworker, that Windows 7 themes are totally compatable with Windows 8. So, I suppose that opens up more possibilities! :D Don'tknow if there's anything I could add that's Win 8 specific, but I might look into that one day.

The first step in setting this up is to visit this page: http://www.themeraider.com/2012/03/mass-effect-custom-theme-for-windows-7.html Download everything listed, but instead of using the themepack they offer, you can download my modified themepack: http://www.mediafire.com/download/okd92bm7op5so45/Mass_Effect_delux.zip The main differences are the sounds, plus I included a few other backgrounds.  The theme is not set to use them, but they are available in case anyone wants something different.  I tried to set up sounds for just about every computer event I could think of, right down to replacing the standard windows beep with the Mass Effect menu click.  I should also note that the instructions on the theme page do not include a link to Speedfan, the program used by those temp gauges you can see in the screenshot, but the link is mentioned by the deviantart user who created the rainmeter skin.  You can find it by scrolling down the page and checking his comments.  Finally, I went searching for a screensaver to include, and came up with this: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ovqda2zosn6yoa7/Mass+Relay.exe , courtesy of Bioware forum user hippo92210b.  All together, I think these make an awesome setup for any computer, and the different tiles available in rainmeter make for a good level of customization.  I hope you enjoy the results of my wacky net moods!  I managed to work my way around the instructions for the installation and modifying the programs pretty easily, but if anybody needs any help, feel free to message me.
